2nd Class Process Operator

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a 2nd Class Process Operator on a permanent basis at our Co-op Ethanol Complex in Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan.

**What you’ll do**:
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and minor maintenance of boilers and other plant equipment. This will include ensuring product standards and housekeeping requirements are met, while at all times adhering to the highest safety standards. Some key responsibilities include:
- You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and systems.
- You will operate various process controls and machinery and makes alterations to maintain process and control functions to ensure product is meeting established standards. standards are met.
- You will perform quality assurance tests on the product using testing instruments and making necessary corrective adjustments based on results.
- You will ensure boiler and cooling water quality tests are completed in a timely and professional manner and control of chemical treatment adjusted accordingly.
- You will perform equipment checks and performs minor maintenance as required. If an issue is identified, you will make the necessary machinery and equipment adjustments and implement the proper response.
- You will ensure all water testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- You will be a trained participant of the Fire and Rescue Teams.
- You will maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the plant and control room and provide feedback on any areas if there is a deficiency.
- You will provide training and oversight to less experienced employees on plant, boiler, and chemical equipment and ensure they have the proper knowledge to operate in a safe and efficient manner.
- You will complete all required log entries, records and reports accurately and on time.

**Who you are**:

- You have a 2nd Class Power Engineering Certification.
- You preferably have relevant industrial experience.
- You have the following training required:
