45 pm, 8 hours, Monday - FridayPERKSAn attractive remunerationA modern workplace and an exciting area of responsibility in a future-oriented industryIntercultural cooperation and short communication channels - also across national bordersAn open corporate culture and trust-based working hours for self-determined time managementTargeted employee developmentBenefits, RRSP, and employee eventsRESPONSIBILITIESOperate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant’s machinery and equipment, while improving processes.Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including PLC and motor controls, safety sensors and relays.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drives, bearings and gears.Ensuring that replacement parts are on order to minimize downtimeRepairing and replacing parts as required by the company’s preventative maintenance programCarrying out electrical maintenance procedures.Tuning equipment and ensuring that adequate controls and safety measures are functionalDiagnosing and troubleshooting electronic system faultsWork in a safe professional manner at all times, adhering to company policies, Provincial and Federal requirementsPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS442A Industrial Electrician or interprovincial licenseStrong experience with PLC Programming and motor controls troubleshootingStrong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environmentExperience with robots and automationDemonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional team membersMechanical aptitude/ interestProven ability to adapt to changing priorities and working conditionsAbility to manage tasks in fast paced, dynamic, timing critical work environment while being a team player within the department and divisionAbility to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment2 – 3 years of experience in plastic industries (injection molding, thermoforming, packaging)Excellent communication skills, ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
