Work:

Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
Prepare chart of account to perform full cycle bookkeeping;
Post journal entries to record financial transactions and complete the posting process;
Maintain the general ledger and prepare account reconciliations;
Prepare, and reviewfinancial statements;
Collect, analyze account information to help maximize the accuracy of the reported numbers;
Calculate, and record GST payable and prepare GST return;
Prepare GST and payroll deductioncheques, and send them to Receiver General before due date;
Maintain historicalfinancial record by filling and organizing documents;
Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports;
Perform other related duties with the scope and responsibilities of the job, as requested by management.
Qualifications:
Must be able to speak English
Completion of a college or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program 1 year to 2 years in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Business Equipment and Computer Applications:
MS Access, Electronic scheduler, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Excel
