**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

**The key responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk include but are not limited to**:
- Invoice accounts such as:
FIT’s tours, Lufthansa Airlines
- Upon verification, transfer the accounts from Front Office Transfer Data to their appropriate Accounts Receivable Accounts.
- Handle guests, clients, and customer inquiries and make adjustments where necessary
- Prepare and post Advanced Deposits on a weekly-basis.
- Prepare and send out weekly billings for certain accounts.
- Process credit card payments for business accounts
- Assist and work closely with Credit Manager
- Relieve General Cashier when required
- Process Travel Agent Commission and Print Cheques
- Research and reply to Travel Agent Commission enquiries.
- Perform other accounting related duties as required

- Ability to work as part of the accounting and hotel team, as well as independently
**SELECTION CRITERIA**:

**Qualifications and Technical Experience**:
- ** A minimum of three (3) years hotel guest service front desk experience in a high-volume environment within the Luxury hotels industry is required;
**:
- ** Hospitality related education is required;
**:
- ** Two (2) years or more Hotel accounts receivable/billing experience preferred.**:
- ** Working knowledge of Opera PMS and Silverware POS required.**:
- ** Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).**:
- ** Oracle Accounting software experience is an asset.**:
- ** Must possess excellent interpersonal &
communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, time management with an ability to multitask &
meet deadlines in a high-pressure work environment.**:
- Proven written, verbal, and customer service communication skills.
- Other accounting related experience and/or education is an asset.
