The Aircraft E-Enabling Specialist is responsible for maintaining software/configuration of the Flair fleet to ensure that data is fed to AHM/ECM/FDM programs and that Flair’s aircraft remain up to date and secure from unauthorized communication/software.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure a continuous flow of data for AHM / ECM and FDM programs
- Review changes to Boeing ANSOG document and updates Flair policies/procedures as required
- Maintain configuration/currency of aircraft software
- Handle LSAPs provided through Boeing
- Monitor Boeing Software Distribution Manager performance
- Interact with Flair IT and Boeing IT regarding network integrity and functionality
- Assist Flight Operations with company-specific software for simulator
- Manage changes to ACARS configuration
- Manage changes to the aircraft onboard entertainment system
- Provide troubleshooting instructions to line technicians
- Interact with Flair planning/maintenance control/vendor regarding changes to aircraft software
- Identify and report Flair and vendor issues and risks and submit through Flair’s SMS. Actively participate in Flair’s SMS and verify the efficacy of corrective actions
- Participate in maintenance status and planning meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Transport Canada AME M2 or E with a minimum of 6 years of licensed experience
- Minimum of two years of Boeing e-enabled aircraft experience preferred
- Boeing 737 NG and/or MAX endorsement desirable
- Previous experience with AMOS is desirable
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance for restricted area identity card
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction
