Responsibilities:
Guide and direct contracted maintenance organizations and flight crews to ensure compliance with maintenance requirements, maximize aircraft serviceability, and ensure on-time performance and aircraft utilization as per Control Manual guidelines.Manage the technical dispatch of cargo in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards.Coordinate day-of-flight maintenance activities at all stations or airports and provide technical support for out-of-service aircraft.Act as the main point of contact for all Line Maintenance activities.Provide control for the management of Minimum Equipment List (MEL) items on the fleet.Continuously update the shift manager and senior management on the operational status of the fleet.Stay up to date with all technical and regulatory training required for the assigned role.Utilize real-time aircraft monitoring applications to anticipate aircraft defects and proactively resolve them.Attend aircraft endorsement training courses as necessary.Requirements:
Possess an A.M.E. M2 or E License.Proven knowledge of regulatory programs and agencies such as the Maintenance Control Manual, Transport Canada, and FAA.Willingness to work shifts and extended hours as needed.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.Demonstrated leadership skills.Sound judgment and a proactive approach to taking appropriate actions.Ability to provide clear instructions and guidance on technical matters.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Completion of external or internal management development programs.Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, E-Mail, Excel, and Windows.Job Types:
