**Animal Care Attendant, Receptionist**:

**Kortright Animal Hospital **is welcoming an experienced **Client Service Representative, Animal Care Attendant** to join our team! This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated! The position is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
- Ability to answer a multiline phone system, track and schedule appointments effectively (training provided)
- Cash and Register balancing
- Invoicing/billing;
creating and reviewing treatment plans, obtaining client approval, and processing payments
- Recommending, selecting, and preparing products and services in coordination with the Veterinarian's plans
- Answering questions regarding products and services, educating clients on general animal husbandry and pet care (i.E. heartworm prevention, flea &
tick control).
- Managing medical records, reports, and correspondence.
- General housekeeping duties;
cleanliness of reception, treatment and holding areas, and common areas. Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our clients, patients and team
- Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians with various tasks and treatment of pet patients.
