Appliance Technician - Winnipeg Area

ValleyCentral Appliance is looking for a professional in-home Appliance Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for being the face of our company and providing excellent customer service to ensure a first class service experience for our customers.
**Terms of Employment**:
- Full-Time Permanent
**Anticipated Start Date**:
- As soon as possible
**Responsibilities**:
- Diagnose, repair and install appliances in a professional manner
- Explain appliance features and operation to customers to assist in proper use and care of appliances
- Provide customers with diagnosis, repair estimate, and service explanation
- Complete service work orders for repairs completed
- Communicate and file reports with service manager
**Specific Skills**:
- Conduct Voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment
- Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
- Diagnose faults, using testing devices
- Repair electrical appliances and components
- Replace faulty components
**Experience**:
- Experience is an asset
**Security and Safety**:
- Criminal Record Check
- Driver’s Validity License Check
**Transportation**:
- Service Vehicle supplied by Employer
**Salary**:
$18.00-$32.00 per hour
