Apprentice Bricklayer Opportunity

Brick and Stone Masons are in high demand and now you have an opportunity to go into this satisfying and well-paying trade.
Brick and Allied Craft Union of Canada (BACU) Local 5 is running a Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program. This sixteen-week program is designed to teach participants the basic skills and techniques required to gain the knowledge and confidence to be prepared for success on the jobsite. Participants will learn how to correctly spread mortar, install block and brick while incorporating the use of reinforcing and anchor systems in a variety of projects.
Applicants must have a minimum of grade 10 completed and have a valid driver’s license.
Successful graduates may receive paid job placements and after a probationary period, will become registered apprentices in the trade.
