Assembler

Hello,
We are looking to add a new member to our mobile assembly team.
The position is for an assembler. In short, we service big box retailers around GVRD and assemble their store displays on-site. Bicycles are 95% of what we assemble, along with flat-pack furniture, barbecues, wheelbarrows etc. We provide all the tools and equipment.
Pay starts at $18.50 - 20.50 /hour and will increase with proficiency (we can qualify that in the interview). We are looking for someone who is willing to work 2-4 days per week at a number of locations in the greater Vancouver region.
The following are the absolute requirements for the position:
- Has own car
- Fit, and able to work on feet all day
- Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work
- Strives for efficiency of workflow
- Comfortable working with hand tools, small drills, and impact wrenches.
- Friendly and enthusiastic
*bicycle mechanic experience helps, but we're happy to train you from the ground up
This position is seasonal, which means you will be temporarily laid off during our "
Off season"
which spans from November to early February.
