**JOB DESCRIPTION**
An Assistant Store Manager is responsible to assist the Store Manager in the overall performance of the Store. This includes the following:
- Assisting with the daily activities of the Store/Shop from door to door. This includes ensuring that Staff arrive on time for their respective shifts, work safely and diligently, produce quality work and the Sales staff bill out their time fairly and appropriately.
- Achieve pre-determined monthly sales targets. He/she will be expected to assist in managing and motivating staff to achieve their respective daily targets.
- Assist in the development of appropriate training plans for new staff, and ensure training is completed.
- Assist with the creation of store policies and procedures. This includes Point of Sale policies as well as administrative policies.
- Assist in the development of sales campaigns.
- Other duties as required by the General Manager.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience in customer service
- Experience in the automotive and/or tire industry
- Strong analytical and/or critical thinking skills
- Experience using a Point of Sale system
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Be a self-starter

An Assistant Store Manager is compensated based on his/her skill and experience. The annual salary range is between $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience, results and performance.
