Associate Dentist - Creekside Dental Centre

The team at Creekside Dental Centre in Kelowna, BC is looking for a passionate, hard-working Associate Dentist (General) on a full-time basis.
The Associate Dentist will provide a full range of dental services with the highest quality of care to ensure our patients have a positive, rewarding experience and leave with a smile. The Ideal Associate for our team and practice is skilled in helping patients feel at ease and comfortable, can clearly communicate with both patients and coworkers, and work independently as needed.
Creekside Dental Clinic in beautiful Kelowna, BC. The schedule is 3-days per week, 11-12-hour days. Saturdays are available, the clinic is closed on all long weekends. Opportunity for 4-day per week schedule at 8-10 hour days instead, if preferred .
Each dentist has a team of 2 CDAs and a designated restorative coordinator to keep track of treatment plans. The team is very supportive of each other and covers for each other when needed. The office has a designated accounts receivable administrator. There is a huge opportunity to learn implants and Invisalign, along with other CE .
The clinic has been around for 30+ years and has a loyal reputation of over 12,000+ active patients. There are usually 10-11 doctors in the 21 operatory practices, in which 3-4 associates will work on any given day (except Saturdays, usually 1-2 associates will work, so more exams are available on that day). There are usually 6-8 hygienists working on any given day as well. New associates will be delegated more NP exams.

COMPENSATION:
Associates are compensated on a fee-for-service basis with remuneration starting from 35% collections and higher (depending on experience)
SCHEDULE:
32-40 hours per week
3-day-a-week schedule at 11-12 hour days
or 4-day-a-week schedule at 8-10 hr days.
Flexible on schedule for the right applicant.
Saturday's ideal but not required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
Registered or in processing of registering with the:
British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals
Eligible to practice dentistry in the province of BRITISH COLUMBIA
We are open to those currently registered with other Canadian province(s)
Additional license or certificate might be required (if practicing IV, Botox, sedation, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients' families
