As a **Baker/Pastry Cook **at our central kitchen, you will be responsible for daily prep, baking, cooking, mixing, and making all kinds of cakes, desserts, batters, doughs, and ice creams.
In this role, previous experience or education with baking, decorating and/or pastries is a must.
This is both a full-time and a part-time position, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Our production is 7 days a week so we're able to accommodate your schedule preferences.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare, mix, bake, cook, and make different kinds of cakes, batters, doughs, pastries and ice creams
- Set up, maintain, and clean your stations &
equipment (mixers, workareas, etc)
- Receive ingredients, organize and conduct lot tracking for traceability
- Ensure items are made consistently, on time and perfectly each time
- Maintain both workplace safety and food safety at all times
**Requirements**:
- Able to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking
- Able to learn quickly, follow directions, maintain a clean station, and be organized
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to move and lift up to 40 lbs
- Experience with mixers, ovens, stoves
- Meticulous and detail oriented from accurate measurements of small ingredients to lot tracking
