**Tombo Eats** is the much-anticipated casual dining destination in downtown Victoria, BC.
Owned and operated by Chef Tom Moore (ex-owner/ chef and co-founder of Crust Bakery), Tombo is a fun, stylish and delicious new lunchtime destination. Tombo offers a wonderful, unpretentious all-day dining experience for all to enjoy.
Tombo Pop-Up has already gained a cult following and has reptation in Victoria as the cool new kid on the block - the place to go for our viral cube croissants, our delicious breads, soups, salads, and sandwiches filled with our home-made hams and charcuterie. Tombo Restaurant will be serving original and exciting cuisine from 11am - 4pm, 7 days a week, with an emphasis on fresh, delicious, ethical and seasonal produce. Local wherever possible, of course. Tombo also serves up an incredible array of baked goods from our pastry kitchen and drives a wonderful barista program, a great liquor and beverage program and so much more!

**Baker/ Pastry Chef Duties**:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods incuding breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and established quality standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking in the kitchen as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in breads and pastry baking is required.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in bread/ pastry preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely production of pastries.
- Customer service skills to interact with customers and fulfill their pastry requests.

**Salary**:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
