Job duties:
- Prepare authentic Egyptian pastries
- Mix and prepare dough and batters for authentic Egyptian breads, pastries, sweets, and desserts
- Ice and frost cookies and cakes according to recipes or special customer order
- Divide and form dough by hand for bread and pastries
- Press and stretch dough by hand
- Bake bread in a conveyor oven
- Assign tasks to bakery helpers
- Supervise and train baking personnel and kitchen staff
- Draw up production schedules
- Ensure all goods and products meet established standards
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
Skills Required:
5 or more years of experience
Ability to supervise three to four people
Criminal record check required
