Baker

**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of the basic principles of bakery preparation, various baking methods, and food safety regulations
- Experience with pre-ferments:
levain, poolish, sponge
- Comfortable working early morning and weekend shifts
- A passion for providing an exceptional customer experience
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and multi-task
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Measure, mix, scale, need, hand-shape, and score bread
- Bake traditional bread and bakery products
- Operate bakery equipment (i.E. commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer)
- Adhere to quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitized the work area
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Handle customer service inquiries and provide a positive customer experience
