Batch Plant Operator

What You Will Be Doing
Day to day interaction with other plant employees, report absences and other personnel issues to Area Manager.
Complete required paperwork and reports as needed (example:
Daily driver/truck report, daily hour report, enter/receive raw materials into Oracle, Kronos time approval back up).
Ensure strict compliance with health and safety, environmental, employment, management, and other company policies.
Verify each load for mix, added products and all other quality information.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Receive and inspect raw materials.
Keep required records and logs.
Perform routine maintenance and oversee the cleaning of the Important Company plant.
Monitor inventories in the plant (cement, fly ash, admixtures and aggregates).
Adjust batching weights and quantities as necessary to maintain specifications.
Other duties as assigned.
What We Need from You
Class 5 Driver’s license.
Safe Driver Record.
An understanding of Important Company products is considered an asset.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must have good mathematical skills.
Experience in the operation of a batch plant preferred.
Intermediate computer experience.
Ability to successfully pass our pre-employment testing.
