Hopcott Farms is a third-generation family owned farm open since 1932. For many years we’ve been known for our high quality locally sourced natural meats and produce. We’re all about supporting local and this can be seen in our selection of chicken, pork, produce, and artisanal foods. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and a knowledgeable and welcoming staff.
Due to the opening of a new meat processing facility the company is looking to hire one (1) permanent full-time butcher assistant.
**For this position you need**:
- To have an upbeat and friendly attitude
- To have great work ethic in a fast paced team environment
**Responsibilities Include**:
- Assisting butchers with specialty itmes
- Packaging and prepping
- Processing burger patties for retail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Unload and assist in hanging beef carcasses
- Assist in cleaning &
deboning beef Sub-Primals
- End of day clean up:
spraying and sanitizing butcher prep areas
- Working in refrigerated rooms
Must be able to work between 10:
00 am to 6:
30 pm.
