Accounting Clerk
**Responsibilities**:
- Organize and Process Financial Transactions:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Pay and file invoices and track the status of each account.
- Assist with transaction reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare Month-End Reports:
balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements and expense reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and other compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (NetSuite).
- Assist with Clerical and Administrative Tasks:
answering phones, organizing mail, and ordering office supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
**Qualifications / Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and decision-making skills.
- Suitable organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:
- Diploma
- 5 years of office related experience
- Proficient with MSOffice and business/ accounting systems. (NetSuite) Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations
