**Bookkeeper**
Croatia Industries is a privately owned company looking for a permanent full-time bookkeeper starting immediately.

Croatia Industries provides custom machine works, fabrication, millwright and engineering services for the mining, energy, forestry, and industrial sectors of Saskatchewan. We specialize in custom machine works and large machining projects with manufacturing and repair capabilities.

**Employment Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience
- Post-secondary business or accounting diploma
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Deadline focused and self starting
The following is considered an asset:
- Experience using Sage 50
- Experience working in the Human Resources field
- Experience managing social media sites
**Responsibilities**
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare cheques for bill payment
- Review approved employee hours and process payroll through Ceridian
- Reconcile bank statements and credit cards
- Prepare financial statements and other financial reports
- Assist external accountant with income tax submission
- Process GST/PST remittances
- Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically and via hard copies
- Administer the provision of benefits
- Involvement with planning and organizing corporate social events
- Answer employee questions regarding payroll and benefits

**Salary**:
$34.00-$42.00 per hour
