Bookkeeping Instructor

First College is a privately owned Canadian college with campuses located in Kelowna and West Kelowna, British Columbia. The College is Certified and Designated by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) branch of the BC government Ministry of Advanced Education.
**Position Summary**
First College is currently seeking dynamic instructors to teach students Bookkeeping Certificate Program at our Kelowna campuses. First College is designing the Bookkeeping Certificate Program curriculum at this moment, we are planning to offer it starting at September 2023. The program will be offered online.
**Responsibilities**
- Instructors who are interested in this position need to have the ability to teach courses related to bookkeeping, ranging from advanced to beginner levels.
- Instructor's teaching this program are responsible for preparing lesson plans, leading interactive lectures, fostering interaction among students,
- As well as preparing, administrating, and grading assignments and examinations, and being available to provide students with additional resources and support.
- Be familiar with **Sage 50**:
- Be familiar with **QuickBooks**
**Qualifications**
- BA in Business Administration/Accounting (or related field)
- 3 years of related work experience and teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation and group facilitation skills
- Ability to motivate, engage and inspire students
