**Bus Monitor - Route 100**:
**South Shore Regional Centre for Education**
The South Shore Regional Centre for Education (SSRCE) practices the culturally responsive pedagogy approach in providing an inclusive, diverse, equitable, safe and healthy education that supports learning and success both personally and academically to the 59,000 residents of Lunenburg and Queens Counties, an area of 5,250 square kilometres and a total of 23 schools.
**Assignment**:
- Casual Bus Monitor
- Serving North Queens Community School
- Wages depnding upon qualifications
**Qualifications / Experience**:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- First Aid Training
- Experience working with children / youth
**Characteristics**:

Route/Driver - Route 100
7 am pickup at North Queens school
8:
35 am bell time at North Queens school
2:
44 pm bell time at North Queens school
4:
20 pm arrive at North Queens school
Travel time:
3 hours &
15 minutes
To provide support on both the AM &
PM runs.
- Bus assistants will travel on designated runs and under the direction of the bus driver provide assistance in student management, basic first aid and evacuations.
- The successful incumbent will be trained in emergency evacuation, student behavior management and first aid.
