Full time, permanent, extended hours depending on workload and priorities, which will include some Saturdays.Responsibilities Include:
Manage Direct and or Indirect procurement, spend and purchasing, which will include MRO, Corrugate, Resin, CAPEX, and LabelsMaintain strategic relationships with key suppliersAccurately track and monitor all open purchase orders, ensuring pricing, quantity and ship dates are heldAnalyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory flow, reduce waste and develop appropriate safety stock levelsEnsures inventory control measures are performed in an efficient and timely mannerProvide regular updates on inbound shipmentsWork with cross functional teams and assist the Inventory Control team with maintaining proper inventory levels.Monthly Inventory countingMonthly reporting on cost save measuresHolding suppliers accountable to provided KPI’sOther tasks and responsibilities requested by management.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a Purchasing/Buyer role preferredStrong negotiating experience with vendors and suppliersStrong computer skills knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Windows and FamousAble to perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting and balancing of pallets and crates to suppliers.Reporting of inventory and costing at the end of each month using Microsoft ExcelStrong communication skills with staff and Grower members to ensure the daily supplies of all packaging related materialsAble to meet Company and or Customer tasks and deadlines.Post-secondary business diploma or degree is preferredPhysical Abilities:
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (up to 50 lbs.). Must be able to climb stairs and stand for extended periods of time. As our facilities are temperature controlled to approximately 55°F or 13°C, must be able to work in that environment.Job Requirements:
