Camp Counsellor

The Ville's ReCONNECT is a program designed for children between the ages of 5 and 12. We focus on hands-on learning to develop young empowered leaders in the community. Our students are given the opportunity to build confidence. Each week of this 10-week summer camp follows a different fun and engaging theme! We build capabilities so that children gain confidence to use their new skills to inspire meaningful impact in their circles and share their knowledge with family and peers.
This position requires a student who is motivated and enthusiastic about youth engagement through a variety of activities. We are looking for versatile and unique individuals who can offer new ideas, be adaptable and manage large groups of children.
**Duties**:
Supervise children, lead activities, monitor and engage with children.
Manage behaviour, resolve disputes.
Assist with talking to parents.
Ensure children are safe and having fun.
Assets:
- Standard First Aid training
**Salary**:
From $14.75 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
