Cashier-Northlands Medicine Hat

Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the Food Store Cashier is responsible for delivering world-class customer service. Duties include operating cash registers and taking payment from customers, assisting with merchandising and displaying packaged products, and maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Attention to detail
- Frequent lifting 25 lbs. or more
- Familiarity with electronic equipment (cash register, scanner, money counters, etc.)
- Strong time management and math skills
- Ability to adapt to new technology
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
