**CASHIER SUPERVISOR**
The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for helping lead the team through living and promoting our five core values as well as maintaining day to day operations within the department. The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for delegating tasks, ensuring outstanding customer service and fostering a positive team environment. While the Cashier Supervisor will work alongside the Head Cashier, the Cashier Supervisor will report to the Head Cashier and ultimately department decisions will be made by the Head Cashier.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Give a warm “hello!” to our customers - we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way.
- The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the cash registers and for the store cashiers.
- As Cashier Supervisor you will provide excellent customer service at all times.
- You will learn and memorize all produce codes
- Responsible for ensuring all equipment is ready for use and cash areas are presentable at all times.
- Train new staff and support new Cashier Team Members
- Maintain awareness of the number of customers in line and call for additional cashiers when needed and assistance from specific departments when necessary
- Manage all aspects of the front end:
customer complaints, ensuring cashiers give optimal customer service, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Provide additional support to the Head Cashier as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 2 years cashier experience
- Experience in supervising or managing people
- Education in related field is an asset
