**Responsabilities**
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Plan and facilitate activities that stimulate children’s natural curiosity and support their individual skills and abilities
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment to children and families
- Work within Licencing and Accreditation regulations, Health and Safety practices and protocols, program goals and Agency philosophy
- Assist with classroom maintenance, material preparation, set up and clean up
- Assist the children with self-help skills where needed, including toileting and diapering
- Be energetic, motivated, caring and supportive
- Support administration in some paper work (based on the childcare certification level)
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Alberta Child Care Certification level 1 or 2 or in progress.
- English OR French speaker
- Validate First Aid certification is required ( less than 3 yrs)
- Cleared criminal record (including vulnerable sector check) is required ( less than 6 months)
- Experience:
1 year minimum ( less experience will be considered too)
