Childcare Educator

Gold Bar Daycare &
OSC is looking for Early Childhood Educators with a certification, some experience, and a passion for early learning and childcare. It is for **Toddler room **(Full time) and **Kinder **&
**OSC room (Part time) **but the expectation will that be moved to another room if needed. The Day Care is located in the community of Gold Bar and inside the Gold Bar Public School.

- Must have valid Police Clearance
- Must have Early Childhood Educator certificate
- Must be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and exploring the outdoors.
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
- Be flexible in working with children of all ages
- Be available to work for up to 8 hours shift between the hours of 7:
00am - 6:
00pm

**Job Types**:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours:
30-35 per week
**Salary**:
$18.50-$26.00 per hour
