Requirements:
Minimum of a degree in a healthcare related field, experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
Experience as a regulated health care worker.
Minimum of five (5) years working in a hospital or healthcare environment in a relevant capacity.
Experience leading large organizational change including information system implementation and/or EMR products preferred.
Exceptional communication skills including active listening skills.
Highly organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause identification skills.
Proven interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Highly proficient in using the Microsoft Suite of products and related other programs.
Adaptable and flexible to change.
Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution
Knowledge of the Ontario health care system and its institutions is an asset
Knowledge of Information Systems used in healthcare settings is an asset
Ability to consistently demonstrate and promote personal and organizational values
Strong organizational and time management skills and can effectively prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities and demands
Flexibility in working independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
Good understanding of LEAN and Agile concepts and tools
Thorough understanding of change management strategies and principles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Skilled at challenging accepted ideas and practices to promote consideration of alternate approaches
Analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving
Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
Preferred:
Certification in a relevant area (e.G. Change Management, Project Management Professional, or training and development)
Project Management Professional Certification or other formal project management training
Bilingualism (French/English)
