We are looking for a construction administrator to help manage our growing construction operations and contract administration. Location:
Calgary AB, CanadaRoles and Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute trade and vendor contractsOversee construction contract administration and submittal log processes to ensure that the contract document requirements are met throughout the construction experienceEnforce quality control process measures that ensure compliance with contracts, building, and code regulationsPerform cash management, payroll, and billing tasks - prepare invoices, subcontracts, change orders, work orders, purchase orders, and punch listsAssemble the closeout package including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact informationCandidate Qualifications:
Post Secondary Education3 -5 years of experience in construction services, administrative support, contract administration, or construction project management is crucialUnderstanding of the construction industry and processes are beneficial- including codes, CCDC documentation, and safety regulationsConstruction accounting and bookkeeping experience an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project or construction management softwareExcellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills are valuable
