PSI Important Company Pumping is a family owned and operated business located in Abbotsford, offering our services in Greater Vancouver, throughout the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas. We provide Important Company pumping and placing and finishing services for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
We are currently seeking to hire several construction labourers in permanent, full time positions, to start as soon as possible for our many upcoming projects. You will be based out of Abbotsford, BC, and our projects are throughout the Greater Vancouver urban area. Our starting wage is $21.75/hour based upon a 40 hour work week. We offer medical benefits, dental benefits, vision care benefits and life insurance benefits. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
You should be willing to be flexible with shift work, on-call and willing to work overtime. Hours can be morning, day, evening, night as well as weekends. You must speak English. You should havecompleted high school and have between 1 month to less than 7 months experience.
Specifically you will load, unload and transport construction materials;
assist heavy equipment operators;
clean and pile salvagedmaterials;
remove rubble and otherdebris at construction site. You will be handling heavy loads with the ability to lift up to 23 kg 50 lbs. You will be operating reciprocating saws, circular saws, jackhammers, air guns, drills and sledgehammers. You should have good manual dexterity as the job is physically demanding. You should have steel toed safety boots. The work environment is outdoors involving residential, industrial, commercial and institutional sites.
