**THIS POSTING IS FOR TWO (2) PERMANENT FULL-TIME NON-BARGAINING UNIT POSITIONS.**
This non-unionized role is primarily responsible for the planning, design, administration, and management of assigned projects of varying scope across LMCH’s portfolio.
The Construction Project Manager will be working under the direction of the Senior Manager, Asset Management and will assist in preserving the structural integrity, safety, and habitability of LMCH owned assets by managing the design and the construction of major and minor restoration and renovation projects in residential buildings.

**1. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Act as the owner representative for LMCH and ensure the project objectives and targets are met.
- Produce and issue clear and thorough procurement documents, evaluate submissions and award jobs.
- Make recommendations on construction methodology, resource planning, value engineering, budget, and schedule management. Ensure recommendations consider and address project risks and safeguard project success.
- Direct and supervise contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled. Oversee the development and adherence of the schedule for timely completion of project per construction schedule.
- Ensure the timely administration of construction documents including, but not limited to, change orders, and site instructions.
- Take every reasonable precaution to maintain the safety and security of personnel, the public, corporate assets, and public and private property.
- Ensure that all necessary permits, approvals, and licenses are obtained and safely stored.
- Administer all project documentation including but not limited to meeting agendas, meeting minutes, contracts, and addendums. Attend and chair meetings as necessary.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project budget, schedule, as well as prepare financial and periodic progress reports.
- Ensure that record drawings, maintenance manuals, operating instructions, etc. are properly completed and delivered to the Owner.
- Perform periodic inspections of all work and ensure quality control.
- Provide direction and mentorship to support staff and other less experienced members of the Asset Management Team
- Other duties as assigned.
**Other**
- The ability to travel and provide own transportation may be required;
incumbents must possessa valid Driver’s License and adequate insurance.
- A current, satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) may be required.
**2.** **EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, &
QUALIFICATIONS**:
- A post-secondary education in a technical or related field (for example, construction project management, construction engineering, architectural technologist, or engineering program) or equivalent work experience is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be an asset.
- CPR/First Aid Certification may be required.
- A minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing multi-year and/or large scope construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience in clear communication and collaboration with and between internal and external stakeholders for successful completion of projects.
- Experience navigating the municipal approvals and permitting system and working with municipal engineering and building divisions.
- Experience with rebate programs is considered an asset.
