The Contract Graphic Designer will work with both internal resources and external partners on a wide variety of projects across multiple Brands at Dorel Juvenile, including but not limited to Safety 1st, Maxi Cosi, Tiny Love, Cosco Kids, and Disney Baby. Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Product Development, Brand Marketing, and internal/external staff to:
- Design and develop packaging from scratch, as well as execute edits on existing US packaging, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. - Create and revise product fashion specifications in collaboration with the product development team. - Produce high-quality photography and A+ content, including video, to enhance product presentation on various online platforms. - Design marketing materials such as point-of-purchase (POP) displays, brochures, display concepts, social media content, web banner sizing and versioning, and product launch packages. - Manage content across various platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy. - Maintain Dropbox with up-to-date product content and manage a content tracker for sales and marketing purposes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness. - Work with team to achieve key delivery dates - Ensure alignment with cross functional teamsEducation, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Commercial Art or equivalent experience - 3+ years of related experience - High level of creativity, passion and integrity - Keen understanding of the basic principles of branding - Experience designing e-commerce advertising - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing - Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, InDesign, Acrobat, Word, Excel - Strong presentation skills - Organized and able to multi-task in a high-volume, ever-changing environment - Ability to interpret branding assets and apply across multiple platforms, such as:
packaging, environmental &
digital - Solid understanding of branding systems and style guides and toolkits - Provide clear communication and ensure approval process protocols are adhered to - Experience creating innovative design solutions for retail merchandising displays, ecommerce and digital platforms a plus - Working well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.
