As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Corporate Director of Operational Food Safety and Quality Assurance.Position Overview:
Reporting to the VP of Global Food Safety and Quality Assurance, the Corporate Director of Operational Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) is a strong changing agent who enjoys working in an agile environment with a mindset of efficiency and cost-effectiveness. He continuously improves our operational food safety and quality practices, standards processes, programs, and procedures along with the Nature’s Touch ways of working, government regulations, and customer specifications in all Nature’s Touch plants.Key Responsibilities:
Provides leadership to the operational FSQA team members and participates in implementing the company quality assurance programs and policies (Nature’s Touch ways of working, HACCP, SQF, etc.).Is a key changing agent in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective standardization of best practices in all Nature’s Touch plants.Acts as a coach for the Operational FSQA team.Mastering the continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed the KPIs.Conducts thorough risk assessment, root cause analysis, and CAPA (Corrective and preventative action) related to the Operational FSQA.Ensures the hold and release process is efficient and we don’t short customers.Performs internal audits to ensure corporate policies, practices, and procedures compliance.Supports the R&
D and Innovation projects in ensuring compliance with Nature’s Touch ways of working, government regulations, and customer specifications.Oversees the monthly and annual review of customers’ complaints reports and contributes to identifying global initiatives for improvement.Perform regular gap analysis between applicable standards and/or regulations with current practices and internal QA systems. Maintain a quality plan to ensure the company meets industry and regulatory compliance.Work in partnership with all plant operations personnel to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of all quality assurance processes and programs.Fresh season support:

Contributes to the documentation update and implementation.RM management interventionQualifications:
1. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Five Quality Assurance Managers2. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in food science or related discipline.10-15 years experience in progressively senior Quality Assurance and Food Safety roles in a Food processing environment.Minimum of 5 years experience in leadership and management roles in the food industry.3. Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of quality, process control software, and toolsMinimum of 5 years experience in leadership and management roles in the food industry.4. Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent level of English (writing and speaking)Attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
