**CORPORATE SECURITY OFFICER**:
The Corporate Services Branch is looking for a Corporate Security Officer for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as an RÉ-04 ($59,364 to $75,591 per annum).

**DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION**
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Security, the Officer administers security policies, guidelines and procedures related to the National Capital Commission’s (NCC) Corporate Security activities. The individual organizes and implements the NCC’s security requirements to ensure protection of all its assets and compliance with Commission and Government of Canada Security policies. The Corporate Security Officer provides advice to managers in the preparation of contract or agreement documentation to ensure that proper security related clauses are included. The individual conducts Threat and Risk Assessments as well as administrative investigations. The Corporate Security Officer also assists in the development and maintenance of the NCC Business Continuity Plan as well as the NCC contingency and emergency plans.
**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**:
Post-secondary diploma in a field related to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience relevant to the position.
**EXPERIENCE**:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in each of the following criteria:
- In providing guidance to clients on security programs, policies and procedures;
- In administratingpersonnel security within the Government of Canada.
**KNOWLEDGE**
- Of the personnel security screening process;
- Of the principlesand practices of Threat and Risk Assessment management.
**ABILITIES**
- To manage projects independently with minimum supervision;
- To conduct investigations and prepare reports;
- To work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
