Important Company is seeking a Crew Scheduler. This individual has the ability to demonstrate a high standard of excellence, enjoys challenges, and is results-driven. The incumbent must be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work in an agile environment.
Adhering to regulations and communicating with all stakeholder while ensure crew requirements are maintained for ?day of? operations in a timely and effective manner. This is a 24/7- 365 days per year position involving shift work.
Key deliverables include:
Answer the phone promptly demonstrating an ability to listen and empathize with crew members while ensuring a high level of internal guest satisfaction
Ensure schedule amendments are following Canadian Aviation Regulations CARS, Commercial Air Service Standards CASS, the Company Operations Manual, the Flight Attendant Manual FAM
Monitor and mitigate Crew duty and rest violations
Answer the phone promptly demonstrating an ability to listen and empathize with crew members while ensuring a high level of internal guest satisfaction
Ensure implementation of IROP irregular operations contingency plans and required pairing modifications
Adhere to Flight Operations policies and Inflight Department policies as outlined in the, the FAM, the Crew Services Guidelines
Ensure appropriate deadheading arrangements are made, confirmed and tracked for crews
Monitor and mitigate Crew duty and rest violations
Other duties as assigned
Experience and qualifications:
Minimum 1 year airline experience preferably in an operational role
Previous experience with flight crew schedules and CARS is an asset
Intermediate experience with SabreSonic, MS Word, Outlook and Excel
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with the capability of establishing respect and credibility through actions
High degree of motivation and commitment to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever changing environment
Ability to work with mínimal supervision and take responsibility for accomplishing routine tasks
Proven organizational, time management skills and problem solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment
Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork whilecontributing to a fun and friendly atmosphere
