- Develop a variety of analytical products using;
temporal and spatial analysis, phone and/or GPS analysis, association charts, timelines, predictive analysis, trend analysis, and social network analysis
- Providing strategic analytical products.
- Performing advanced functions in creating intelligence through data collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination process as required.
- Developing and preparing statistical reports and briefings and perform statistical analysis for reporting purposes
- Presenting developed intelligence in professional and public forums.
- Liaising with various law enforcement and correctional agencies for intelligence sharing purposes.
- Managing and maintaining various databases
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills and can work well in dynamic environments.
- Performing offender identification related duties.
- Ability to work with a high degree of independent judgment using sensitive and confidential information
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- As part of your pre-hire screening you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance and may conduct a Polygraph. Should you accept employment with the Edmonton Police Service you acknowledge and agree to participate in future Enhanced Security Re-Clearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances, exigent or otherwise, as required by Human Resources Division.

- An undergraduate degree in a related field of study (ie. Social Sciences or Criminology) with a minimum of two (2) years related working experience
- Knowledge of analytical methods, statistics and practices.
- Strong research capabilities
- ArcGIS, iBase and/or Power BI, Cognos experience will be considered an asset.
- Ability to produce a variety of professional analytical and statistical reports and presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to the ability to work well in a team environment.

029, $44.33 - $55.72 (Hourly), $2,992.90 - $3,761.50 (Bi-Weekly) $78,114.23 - $98,175.25 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
