- **Custom Cabinet Maker**_
**Who we are looking for**:
We are currently looking for a reliable and precise fabricator in our custom millwork/casework shop. This individual should be experienced working in the field of cabinetmaking and/or finish carpentry and is comfortable collaborating on larger projects or working on their own. Preference will be given to someone who has an understanding of the full scope of the work from creating a cut list to final installation.
Work in our shop to take projects from a shop drawing to a finished piece of millwork. Types of projects include custom cabinetry and built-ins, paneling, beams and one off furniture pieces. We also provide support to our finish carpentry division, sometimes jumping mid day to produce trim pieces, panels or whatever our field staff need.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Physical abilities must include manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects such as cabinets, doors, panels, beams and other materials
- Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately
- Effectively manage time
- Thorough understanding of wood products and the operation and installation of hardware
- Knowledge of woodworking joinery techniques
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Experience using panel saws, table saws, routers, planers, jointers, edge banders and hand tools safely
- Works well Independently and as a teammate within the company
- Able and willing to work diligently and efficiently - able to self-manage time and tasks, complete work quickly, but accurately to meet deadlines
- Able and willing to work well with others, willing to try new techniques and building methods
- Desire to continuously learn
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment for you and others
- Create accurate material takeoffs and cut lists from shop drawings
- Pull from take-off materials for best yield
- Work in an efficient and timely manner
- Glue-ups for assemblies, veneers, laminates, etc.
- Perform minor machinery maintenance and other shop upkeep
- Assemble components
- Master shop machinery use

**Who we are looking for**:
We are currently looking for a reliable and precise individual in our custom millwork/casework shop. This individual should have some experience and/or knowledge of the building process, but does not need to be directly related to cabinetmaking. We are looking for someone who is looking to learn as a cabinetmaker and grow with our expanding team.
