Madeira Park. We pride ourselves in providing a comprehensive Coast Builders experience to the residents who live, work and play on the Sunshine Coast.
We are currently looking for a **CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM MEMBER **for our Sechelt Store to join our growing team. We are currently seeking a **FULL TIME** **CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM MEMBER **however, we offer both part full time and part time opportunities.
**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Store Manager the Customer Service Team Member is responsible is to provide all point-of-sale functions, including recording and collecting for customers purchases;
processing sales transactions, keeping accurate record of all cash and credit card transactions and reconciling records of daily sales to make sure the cash and credit card information balances. The Customer Service Team Member will enhance retail sales and merchandising by providing information, confirming prices and interacting with contractors and customers.
**What you will do**
- Greet and verbally communicate with customers, management and staff in person and on the phone.
- Operate cash register with sufficient speed and accuracy.
- Verify signatures and expiry dates on credit cards.
- Make sure check totals and dates are accurate.
- Verify Yard Slip information is properly entered to the till.
- Follow proper procedures regarding refunds and returns.
- Answer the phone in a prompt manner and take messages.
- Assist those customers who need advice, information or directions.
- Call for yard support for customers who are going to the yard for merchandise.
- Stocking shelves with incoming merchandise.
- Be familiar with all items in the store and yard.
- Take special orders.
- Keep the store clean and tidy. Sweeping floors and dusting merchandise when the till is covered by another cashier.
- Addresses customers concerns appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inform Store Manager of merchandise that customers are requesting which we do not have or have been out of stock for an undo period of time.
- Tabulate sales at the end of the day and confirm a balance as per store procedures.
- Count float in the till as per store procedure.

**Qualified applicants will have**
