It could be a part time or a full time position.The Heart is located in the Mountain Valley city of Whitehorse Yukon. Surrounded by a pristine wilderness playground, and filled with a unique community of artists and outdoor enthusiasts.Currently more than 2/3rds of our population have been vaccinated and we have 1 active Covid Case - we have had two productions in the theatre since and are doing very well and have not had to shut down since.The team at the Heart is lead by professionals with a vast knowledge across arts genres, we have music visual art and dance departments and two streams of educational programming Traditional Classical &
Royal Conservatory and Contemporary including 4 elements of Hip Hop, improvisational jazz &
funk. We encourage the creative development of all our students and support them with opportunities for student led projects.We have a full time costume department, and have support staff for props and sets.We are home to Borealis Soul, a multi - Discipline Professional Company, and Groundwork Sessions, Breaking Crew.
