Delivery Driver - Class 5 - Nanaimo

As a Trail Appliance Delivery Driver, you are an integral part of the journey in providing the best customer service from the point of sale to our customers’ homes. Trail Appliances Delivery Drivers are the best in the industry, and our customer satisfaction record shows! Happy customers equals happy days for our staff who work to deliver our unique range of products.
**As a Delivery Driver, you will...**:
- Greet and explain the delivery process to each of our customers in a professional manner.
- Safely handle and install our unique range of products into our customers’ homes. This is heavy work, but hey, you essentially get paid to work out!
- Work daily with a trained delivery partner (Who knows, could be the start of a new friendship.)
- Safely operate our 5-ton trucks (only requires a class 5 licence). Our trucks are fully automatic and most are less than 5 years old!
- Complete the required paperwork for each delivery (and we will even provide the pen!).
**The experience we like to see**:
- Must be available to work weekends (lighter traffic on these days - you’re welcome).
- A willingness to learn some new skills and product handling techniques (We will teach you how to install a washer and dryer - impress your friends and family).
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
- Experience operating 5 ton truck or other large vehicle is considered an asset.
- Physical ability to consistently lift and move large and heavy items (Again, throw your gym membership away - you’ll be lifting refrigerators in no time).
- Great people skills and an ability to wow our customers.
- A strong appreciation for personal safety and that of others.

**Compensation Structure**:
- Compensation:
- $22.28 + $1.79 ph Bonus and $200 Bonus Monthly
- Full benefits after probation
