**Overview**:
Commissionaires Great Lakes offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile, highly motivated Security Professional. We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, strong working knowledge of computer systems, CCTV experience, a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service, security and protection for our client's site. As a front-line representative of our company and client’s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with mínimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.
**Job Profile**:
The FED section is located on the 1st floor. This post is manned from 0730 until 1530 with a 30 minute unpaid meal break Monday thru Friday. Normally the office closed on weekends and military Holidays but there are times they will be open if students are in the field. Their general duties are as follows:
- Create and Maintain schedule for FED Team members
- Ensure facilities and required equipment is ordered and maintained
- Conduct realistic field effects demonstration scenarios in support of PLQ week
- Create realistic field effects scenarios
- Conduct disciplinary interviews, providing Provide counselling and guidance as required for scenario debriefs
- Assign, control, and supervise tasks of PATs in the field and garrison
- Supervise weapon, weapon components, and ammunition storage and security IAW RCAF Academy Standing Orders
- Provide orientation and safety briefing to PATs
- Participate when required, in field effects demonstrations
- Train FED section members in the conduct of their duties specifically, their role-playing responsibilities within established security and safety guidelines
- Prepare scenario activity schedule for each FTX as required
- Organize and supervise maintenance and cleanup of FED base in training area (R95)
- Clean, repair and order replacement parts for Airsoft weapons
- Manage and supervise the security of training (Airsoft and Rubber) weapons IAW RCAF Academy policies
- Supervise, control and maintenance of radio equipment
- Supervise drawing, cleaning, and return of vehicles to Base Transport
- Assist supply section as required
- Maintain inventory of Airsoft and Rubber weapons, components, and stores secured at R-95
- Supervise use of and maintenance of unit vehicle
- Co-ordinate delivery and receipt of Sea Containers
- Maintaining and accounting for R-95 stores
- Write SOP’s for Trg and Support section for Vehicles, Accident, QM,
- Conduct SNAC reports quarterly for weapons and scopes
- Maintain inventory of unit weapons and components
- Manage and supervise security of weapons and weapon components IAW RCAF Standing Orders
- Create work orders for items to be repaired on the base such as weapons, weapons items
**Required Qualifications**:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid "
