Dock Supervisor (Logistics) - Mississauga

Armour Transporation Systems has an opening for a **Logistics Night Supervisor** (Pepsi Account) at our **Mississauga** Logistics Warehouse.
**Night Shifts, Sunday through Thursdays (approximately 6:
30pm - 3am, although times may vary)**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To safely and effectively control the timely flow of freight across the dock by managing the warehouse crew, doors, and equipment
- Responsible for Pepsi pickers, shippers and receivers, to set up picking orders in the Pepsi system (Voice Pick)
- Responsible for overseeing crew attendance management
- Manage employee pick productivity through active supervision and coaching
- Able to build trailer loads utilizing download requests for shipments
- Responsible for closure of loads picked on the shift
- Ensuring all staff in the warehouse are following operational safety guidelines, i.E. safety vest, steel toe shoes, dock obstacles &
cleanliness
- Ensure freight is secured properly using load bars
- Ensure proper equipment is utilized for each outbound lane, i.E. LCV (equipment planning), logistic posts, temperature controlled
- Ensure “Rush” orders are loaded and turned over to Dispatch on time
- Updating the available trailer status board
- Ensure trailer status and needs are properly communicated

**Working Conditions**:
- Fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work variable shifts when required (days, nights, weekends, holidays) and longer shifts to cover gaps.
**Technical Skills**:
- Experience and understanding of the TruckMate system are considered an asset.
