**About us**
Omachron Science Inc. is a small business in Hampton, ON. We are supportive, professional, and our goal is to Omachron Science is a small family-owned company located in Hampton, Ontario Canada doing research and development company for the past 44 years.
We are looking to hire a full-time person to assist in drive details and security operations.
The job is from Monday to Friday, 0700 hrs (7am) to 1600 hrs (4pm). These hours of work may require modification to meet company needs. The job includes benefits after 6 months of employment. The job includes around one paid week off between Christmas and New Years and a further 3 weeks per year paid holidays off after a year of employment.
We do not have public transit in our area so you will need a reliable vehicle to come to work.
**Duties**
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging customer service.
- Drive staff to and from appointments in the throughout the wider GTA and neighboring areas.
- Use company vehicles.
- Pickup and deliver items in support of the research and development team.
- Maintain a log of a small fleet of vehicles and co-ordinate their maintenance with the local dealership.
- Clean and detail vehicles.
- Assist in lawn cutting and grounds maintenance in summer.
- Assist team in snow removal and de-icing of vehicles using a Bobcat, snow blower and shovels.
- Perform periodic property patrols to ensure security and safety for all staff.
**Must Be Able To**
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 30 kilograms
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
**Requirements**:
- Valid G Class Ontario Driver's Licence is required
- Driver's abstract is required
- Must hold a valid Ontario Security License
- First Aid CPR-C is required
**Assets**
- Experience as a professional driver a major asset
- Advanced driving courses a major asset
- Ability to multitask and tend to several sets of parallel priorities
- Must drive safely and obey all traffic laws
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
**Other Information**
- You will primarily work at the Hampton location with travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and neighboring areas.
- All supplies and PPE is provided by the employer.
