We are now hiring for a FULLTIME (Permanent) High-Lift driver - all shifts, to work in our flight kitchen located on the grounds of Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga.A High-Lift Driver is responsible for loading equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to various types of aircrafts and unloading the equipment. All activities must be accomplished according to customer guidelines and while adhering to safety regulations. The High-Lift Driver interacts with the airline representatives at the aircraft, therefore, must be customer service oriented.Own transportation is an asset as public transport is limited in the area.This position is represented by a labour Union and is covered by one or more collective bargaining agreement/s.Responsibilities:

Excellent communicator (oral and written), who demonstrates sound judgment, tact, and works well in high-pressure situations.Current Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract (D License Preferred)Must have skill and ability to understand and read spec.Able to handle multi-tasks and adapt to change.Self-motivated, and able to work with mínimal supervision.Ability to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, honesty and mutual respect.Knowledge of safe lifting techniques, as regular and repetitive heavy lifting (approx. 50lbs) is required.Ability to work shift workEnvironmental Requirements and Working Conditions:
