Spring Lakes Golf Club is the largest private golf course in Canada offering a driving range, practice facilities and three separate 18 hole courses.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Driving Range Attendant to join our team. As a Driving Range Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the driving range facility and providing exceptional customer service to our members.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greeting members upon arrival and ensuring that hitting stations are prepared.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the driving range facility, including picking up golf balls, removing garbage from the tee decks, weeding, filling divots, cleaning golf balls and ensuring that the work area is cleaned daily.
- Maintaining and keeping equipment in good working order by checking oil, tire pressure, ensuring that machine joints are greased, notifying management if any issue is discovered and operating equipment safely as instructed.
- Monitoring the driving range area to ensure that safety protocols are followed and that all golfers who are present are members or guests who are accompanied by members.
- Performing routine maintenance on ball washer and club cleaners to ensure proper working conditions.
- Assisting with golf camps and special events as required.
- Punctuality and reliable transportation.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Making sure that at the end of a closing shift, the Driving Range is set up and ready for the next worker in the morning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or similar role preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of equipment safely and efficiently.
- A positive attitude with a strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays when scheduled
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
