**ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY SAMPLE RECEIVER**
**This is a Contract position to December 29, 2023**
**As**
**a SAMPLE RECEIVER, your responsibilities**

**are**:
Responsible for receiving environmental samples from clients and couriers, unpacking, inspecting and labeling samples.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Greet Clients and Receive Samples
- Unpacking sample coolers and inspection of samples.
- Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System
- Label Samples
- Inspect Jobs
- Distribute samples to the Lab
- Help with Archiving
- Other duties as required
Availability for shift work, OT and weekend work required
**You are an ideal SAMPLE RECEIVER if you have [Minimum Requirements]**:
- You have a post-secondary school education (B.Sc. preferred).
- You have knowledge of standard operating procedures and instrumental techniques.
- You have good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills.
- You have the ability to do repetitive tasks with few errors.
- You have the ability to block out distractions and work under busy, stressful conditions.
- You can maintain a high level of work production in a fast paced lab environment.
