**Roles &
Responsibilities**
- Accurately assess bid packages to determine duration of project and project cost. (requirements for labour, equipment, materials, and facilities, etc )
- Search public tender sites for potential projects, engaging with potential clients and contractors to stay on top of up-and-coming projects.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and capable of working independently.
- Attends pre-construction meetings.
- Prepare estimates by calculating takeoff elements of the work accurately.
- Preparation of quotations in a timely manner.
- Review of contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Working with the operations team analyzing projects/bids for risk mitigation, ambiguities, exceptional requirements.
- Bonding and insurance review.
- Ensure to collaborate effectively with the operations team.
- Be familiar with construction work and terminology.
- Develop quantity-based estimates from partial information.
- Follow up with clients on quotations that are sent out.
- AutoCAD drafting of pile layouts and shop drawings.
**Qualifications**:
**Required**:
- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-based environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organized and process driven.
- Dedicated to the pursuit of continuous improvement.
**Assets**:
- Additional consideration will be given to those having any of the following:
- Experience in a similar role relating to construction products.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or other similar ERP systems.

- This is a full-time position 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 8:
00- 5:
00 with the potential for some overtime during the peak busy season.
- Travel is not required.
