This is for 1 permanent full time, hours biweekly position.
This position is responsible for performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for Health &
Social Services. This position maintains accurate financial information by utilizing a financial management information system, carries out data control functions, completes pre-audits of branch batches containing cheque requisitions, and other administrative and financial support services.

Essential Qualifications

Basic accounting and/or bookkeeping coursework
Considerable experience in accounts payable
Considerable experience in data entry, reconciliations and reviewing financial documentation accuracyand compliance
Experience using computerized financial systems ie. FM30, Quest, FIRM, Front-End
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability
Strong experience and working knowledge in financial principles and responsibilities
Strong communication skills
Excellent ability to establish and maintain relationships with departmental employees and managers
Ability to work independently as well as be a team player and positively contribute to a team environment
Commitment to client service
Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet client and departmental needs and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail is critical
