Forklift Driver/General Assembler

**FORKLIFT DRIVER/GENERAL ASSEMBLER**
We are a leading exhaust fan manufacturer currently looking for a FULL TIME Forklift Driver/General Assembler to work in our sheet metal fabrication plant facility located in Brampton (Dixie Rd and Steeles Avenue area). This is a long term permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am-4:
30pm.
- Performs daily machine check and startup of machine or equipment.
- Reviews Work Order instructions with Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager for production requirements.
- Retrieves or receives Work in Progress from Spot Welding department.
- Assemble fans, blades, blowers, exhaust fans using small hand tools.
- Tests - check motors and completed fans, etc. for operational readiness.
- Directs finished product to Shipping department or to stock in warehouse.
- Reports to Plant Manager or Production Supervisor re:
daily work routine, Problems, further direction and necessary requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Basic power tools and assembly experience.
- Basic computer knowledge would be an asset.
- **Forklift License for Raymond Reach and Counter Balance vehicles - Must Have**
